GSWA collected hyperspectral reflectance spectra from drill holes intersecting the Eucla Basement (FOR004, FOR010, FOR011, MAD002, MAD014, HDDH001) using a HyLogger3 located at GSWA’s drill core library in Carlisle, WA. A PLS-based approach was used to model three geochemical indices, including the Magnesium number (“Mg#”; Mg/(Mg+Fe)), Silica Calcium Iron Magnesium number (“SCFM”; SiO2/(SiO2+CaO+FeOtot+MgO)), and Aluminium saturation index (“ASI”; Al2O3/(Na2O+K2O+CaO)) from the hyperspectral data. The accompanying CSIRO report EP184011 provides a detailed description of applied processing methods using The Spectral Geologist (TSG) software, including the feature extraction scripts (base and Multiple Feature Extraction Method (MFEM) scripts), and Partial Least Squares (PLS) modelling of geochemistry. \nLineage: In the frame of AuScope's NVCL Infrastructure Program and GSWA's EIS Program, hyperspectral reflectance spectra were collected by GSWA from drill holes FOR004, FOR010, FOR011, MAD002, MAD014 and HDDH001 using a HyLogger3 located at GSWA’s drill core library in Carlisle, WA. The HyLogger3 data were processed further CSIRO using The Spectral Geologist software (TSG).
