Differentially expressed microRNAs were identified in bursa samples of a Marek’s disease (MD) resistant line and a susceptible line of birds in response to MD vaccine HVT or CVI/988 Rispens inoculation on the day of hatch and vv+MDV challenge 5 days post hatch. Total RNA samples were extracted from the bursa samples taken 21 days post the MDV challenge. Those microRNAs might be associated with both resistance to MD and protective efficacy of the MD vaccines.
