Uniaxial Compression test data. The microstructure and mechanical properties of a highly tectonically deformed calcareous shale were investigated using uniaxial compressive tests at ambient temperature and pressure. UCS data reveals different elastic, deformational properties, and ultimate strength for each mutually orthogonal direction.
