The atlantic spiny spider crab is subject of a heavy exploitation pressure in the coastal area comprehended between Morocco and the north of France. There is very little information on the molecular genetic aspectsof this species. In order to widen our knowledge from a molecular point of view we are generating a dataset via high-throughput sequencing technologies.
