本数据集为新冠（COVID-19）患者尸检获取的人类肺部组织样本的RNA测序（RNA-sequencing）数据。实验整体设计：本数据集所用样本均来自新冠患者尸检获取的肺部组织。本研究使用人类受试者样本开展的实验均符合当地相关法规，并已获得西奈山伊坎医学院（Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai）伦理审查委员会的审批，审批编号为HS#12-00145。
