The purpose of this study is to provide evidence for monitoring and evaluation of the key health behaviors, determinants, and exposure to PSI programming among Transgenders (TGs) aged 15-35 in Pattaya, Thailand, where PSI is implementing a PACT funded program. This study aims to answer two fundamental questions; 1) What are the levels and trends that are evident in key behavior, risk, Opportunity, Ability and Motivation (OAM) constructs, and exposure to PSI/Thailand activities?; 2)Is exposure to PSI/Thailand activities leading to changes in behavior, risk, and OAM? Two cross sectional surveys were conducted in October (N=400) and June 2006(N=400). This study was the third round which conducted in July 2009. Respondent- Driven Sampling (RDS) was used to collect data among 300 TGs in Pattaya aged 15 to 35 who have been living in Pattaya for more than 3 months and work or socialize in hot zones at least three nights a week. A screening questionnaire and self-administered questionnaire served as survey tools. The questionnaire collected information on demographic characteristics, sexual behaviors with regular, casual and commercial partners, condom, water-based lubricant and oil-based lubricant use, determinants of behaviors, and exposure to Sisters. UNIANOVA analyses were performed to identify significant trends in behavior and determinants over time, and the impact of PSI's interventions on behavior and determinants.
