Total Sky Imager observations during POLARSTERN cruise PS122/3 on 2020-03-16

The dataset consist of camera shots of the sky. The camera - a total sky imager manufactured by Canon (Powershot) - was mounted at the top of the Research Vessel Polarstern. At the leg 3 (from February until June 2020) of the MOSAIC experiment from Arctic Ocean - Longyearbyen this camera shots were taken with a temporal resolution between 15 minutes and 15 seconds. The dataset represents the visible projection of weather conditions and cloud cover recorded on the vessel Polarstern in the direction near the zenith. These observations are useful for the interpretation of the atmospheric radiation measurements.

本数据集包含天空场景的相机实拍影像。所用相机为佳能（Canon）博秀（Powershot）系列全天空成像仪（total sky imager），安装于极星号（Polarstern）科考船的顶部。在北极气候多学科漂流观测（MOSAIC）实验的第三航段（2020年2月至6月，航线为朗伊尔城至北冰洋）期间，采集的相机影像时间分辨率介于15秒至15分钟之间。本数据集呈现了极星号科考船朝向近天顶方向记录的气象条件与云量的可见投影影像，此类观测数据可用于辅助解读大气辐射观测结果。
