Children's enteral nutrition is supplied by nasogastric or gastrostomy tubes. Diet influences our nutrition intake and interacts with the composition and function of gut microbiota. Recently, homemade blenderized tube feeding has been administrated to such children in addition to ready-made tube feeding. The purpose of this study was to evaluate oral/gut microbial communities in enteral nutrition children with or without receiving homemade blenderized tube feeding. This study analyzed the bacterial composition and the predicted functional genes of six subjects receiving mainly ready-made tube feeding (RTF) and five subjects receiving mostly homemade blenderized tube feeding (HBTF).

儿童肠内营养(enteral nutrition)通过鼻胃管(nasogastric tube)或胃造口管(gastrostomy tube)进行供给。饮食可影响机体的营养摄入,并与肠道微生物群(gut microbiota)的组成及功能相互作用。近年来,除成品管饲饮食(ready-made tube feeding, RTF)外,此类儿童还可接受自制匀浆管饲喂养(homemade blenderized tube feeding, HBTF)。本研究旨在评估接受或未接受自制匀浆管饲喂养的肠内营养儿童的口腔/肠道微生物群落。本研究对6名主要接受成品管饲饮食(RTF)的受试者及5名主要接受自制匀浆管饲喂养(HBTF)的受试者的细菌组成与预测功能基因进行了分析。
