Buddlejasaponin IVb alleviates DSS-induced ulcerative colitis through the Nrf2/GPX4 pathway and gut microbiota modulation

Buddlejasaponin IVb (BJP-IVb) is a triterpenoid saponin isolated from Pleurotus ostreatus, rich in bioactive components. However, its therapeutic effects and mechanisms against intestinal inflammation remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate the effects and mechanisms of BJP-IVb on colitis alleviation. A DSS-induced colitis mouse model was used to evaluate the impact of BJP-IVb on intestinal epithelial barrier function and gut microbiota regulation.

醉鱼草皂苷IVb（Buddlejasaponin IVb, BJP-IVb）是一种从平菇（Pleurotus ostreatus）中分离得到的三萜皂苷，富含生物活性成分。然而其针对肠道炎症的治疗作用与潜在机制仍不明确。本研究旨在探究BJP-IVb缓解结肠炎的作用及其机制。本研究采用葡聚糖硫酸钠（Dextran Sulfate Sodium, DSS）诱导的结肠炎小鼠模型，评估BJP-IVb对肠上皮屏障功能及肠道菌群调控的影响。
