Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Samples by Deer/Elk Hunting District

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) samples and results are summarized to the hunting district level approximately weekly during the hunting season. Sample points only include samples in Montana with lab results. Hunting districts with 1 or more positive CWD samples are considered "CWD-positive" hunting districts. Hunting districts with greater than 100 CWD samples (no positives) are considered to currently have no CWD detected. Hunting districts with less than 100 CWD samples (no positives) are conisidered to have insufficient information to detect CWD presence or absence. Season/year to date is defined as July 1 - June 30.慢性消耗病（Chronic Wasting Disease, CWD）的样本及检测结果会在狩猎季期间按狩猎区为单位进行汇总统计，汇总频率约为每周一次。本次统计纳入的样本仅包含美国蒙大拿州内具备实验室检测结果的样本。若某狩猎区存在1份及以上CWD检测阳性样本，则将其归类为‘CWD阳性狩猎区’。若某狩猎区的CWD样本总量超过100份且全部为阴性，则判定为当前未检出CWD。若某狩猎区的CWD样本总量不足100份且全部为阴性，则因样本信息不足，无法判定该区域是否存在CWD。本年度狩猎季的统计周期定义为7月1日至次年6月30日。
