Metataxonomic approximation to enhance the ruminal bacteria isolation. Bos Taurus

Rumen microbiota is fundamental in cattle for the digestion of plant material; however, the low cultivability hinders the understanding of their ecological function and biotechnological potential. The present samples suggests a strategy to improve the recovery of ruminal microorganisms by isolation that combines the assessment of several cultivation parameters with the analysis of populations using metabarcoding.

瘤胃微生物组（rumen microbiota）对于牛的植物性物质消化具有至关重要的作用；然而其可培养性极低，这一现状阻碍了学界对其生态功能与生物技术应用潜力的深入认知。本研究提出一种可提升瘤胃微生物分离回收率的策略：该策略将多项培养参数的评估与基于宏条形码（metabarcoding）技术的种群结构分析相结合。
