The study’s objectives were to investigate the perceptions of Thai secondary school teachers towards online English teaching in the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic and explore opinions of Thai secondary school students towards online English learning during COVID-19 in a government school in Bangkok, Thailand. There were three teachers and sixty students were explored. The research instruments were two sets of questionnaires for collecting the data. The data was analyzed by Microsoft Excel. The overall perception of Thai secondary school teachers indicated a high level of interpretation. Item 10 and item 17 exhibited the highest level of interpretation. On the other hand, based on the opinions of Thai secondary school students, the level of interpretation was found to be moderate overall. In addition, item 1 stood out as having the moderate level of interpretation.
本研究旨在调查COVID-19疫情期间泰国曼谷某公立学校中学教师对课堂在线英语教学的看法,以及该学校中学生对在线英语学习的意见。研究对象包括3名教师与60名学生。研究工具为两套用于数据收集的问卷,数据通过Microsoft Excel进行分析。泰国中学教师的整体看法呈现出较高的认可度,其中第10项与第17项的认可度最高;另一方面,基于泰国中学生的意见,其整体认可度为中等水平,且第1项的认可度在中等水平中表现尤为突出。
