This dataset contains one year 3D sea temperature and salinity (2018) over the Western Black Sea generated using the unstructured hydrodynamic model SHYFEM (https://github.com/SHYFEM-model/shyfem) coupled to the spectral wave model WAVEWATCH III (https://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/waves/wavewatch). The numerical simulations were forced by CERRA meteorological, laterally forced by river discharge, temperature and sediment concentrations (3 classes) generated by Deltares Black Sea Catchment Model performed within the DOORS project. Open sea boundary conditions (3D sea temperature, salinity, currents and water level) are generated by a NEMO model implementation performed by METU, and wave spectra from a WAVEWATCH III implementation performed by CNR within the DOORS project.
Spatial coverage and resolution: 27.435-32.715 latitude; 41.97-46.98 longitude; spatial resolution of 0.015 degrees.
Temporal coverage and resolution: From 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018, every 12 hours.
Variables: sea_water_temperature, sea_water_salinity

本数据集包含2018年一整年的黑海西部海域三维海水温度与盐度数据,采用非结构化水动力模型SHYFEM(https://github.com/SHYFEM-model/shyfem)与谱波浪模型WAVEWATCH III(https://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/waves/wavewatch)耦合生成。数值模拟的大气强迫场采用CERRA气象数据,侧向边界强迫则由DOORS项目中Deltares黑海流域模型生成的径流量、温度与沉积物浓度(共3类)提供。外海边界条件(三维海水温度、盐度、流场与水位)由METU开发的NEMO模型实现生成,而波浪谱则由DOORS项目中CNR完成的WAVEWATCH III模型实现生成。
空间覆盖范围与分辨率:纬度27.435°~32.715°,经度41.97°~46.98°;空间分辨率为0.015°。
时间覆盖范围与分辨率:2018年1月1日至2018年12月31日,时间分辨率为每12小时一次。
变量包含:海水温度(sea_water_temperature)、海水盐度(sea_water_salinity)。
