Preparation and Characterization of an Isometallabenzene with the Structure of a 1,2,4-Cyclohexatriene

The elongated dihydrogen complex CH3}(η2-H2)(H2O)(PiPr3)2]BF4 reacts with phenylacetylene and HBF4·OEt2 to give the unsaturated compound [Os{(E)-CHCHPh}(C⋮CPh)(⋮CCH2Ph)(PiPr3)2]BF4 containing alkenyl, alkynyl, and carbyne ligands. The addition of sodium chloride to this compound leads to the cyclic allene which is the first isometallabenzene with the structure of a 1,2,4-cyclohexatriene.

该拉长型二氢配合物[Os(CH₃)(η²-H₂)(H₂O)(三异丙基膦(PiPr₃))₂]BF₄与苯乙炔及氟硼酸乙醚络合物(HBF₄·OEt₂)反应，得到含有烯基、炔基与卡拜配体的不饱和配合物[Os{(E)-CH=CHPh}(C≡CPh)(≡CCH₂Ph)(PiPr₃)₂]BF₄。向该不饱和配合物中加入氯化钠，可生成环状联烯产物，该产物是首例具有1,2,4-环己三烯结构的金属杂苯（isometallabenzene）。
