This dataset is developed based on the phenolic wastewater treatment operations of an enterprise. The treatment process reduces fossil energy consumption, enhances carbon sequestration and carbon capture technologies, lowers energy consumption, is environmentally friendly without producing secondary pollution, and achieves near-zero discharge and circular utilization of wastes. It provides data support for converting phenolic wastewater treatment volume into carbon emissions for peer enterprises.
1. Data Source: The data is collected from the daily incoming phenolic wastewater stored in the enterprise and the corresponding treatment records of phenolic wastewater.
2. Indicator Coefficient for Waste Treatment Volume: a = Y/X, where Y represents the tons of wastewater after treatment, and X represents the metered tons of incoming wastewater into storage. A univariate linear regression model is employed, with Y as the target variable, X as the input feature, and a as the parameter to be learned via model training. Using previously collected datasets, the model is trained to obtain a value of 0.98 for a, enabling Y to accurately reflect the actual impact of X.
3. Indicator Coefficient for Enterprise Carbon Dioxide Emission Reduction: a = Y/X, where Y represents the reduced amount of carbon dioxide emissions, and X represents the tons of wastewater after treatment. This coefficient is derived from a univariate linear regression model, with Y as the target variable, X as the input feature, and a as the parameter to be learned. Trained with historical collected data, the model yields a value of 0.4 for a, ensuring Y accurately reflects the actual impact of X. The formula for reduced carbon dioxide emissions is: Reduced Carbon Dioxide Emissions = 0.4 * Tons of Wastewater After Treatment.
