This NCEI Accession includes surface underway data collected during the racing sailing vessel Malizia Ocean Challenge cruises in the North Atlantic Ocean, English Channel, Strait of Gibraltar and Mediterranean Sea from 2019-05-03 to 2019-08-05. These data include partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the water, sea surface salinity, sea surface temperature and barometric pressure. The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.

本国家环境信息中心（National Centers for Environmental Information, NCEI）存档数据集包含竞赛型帆船“Malizia海洋挑战号”于2019年5月3日至2019年8月5日期间，在北大西洋、英吉利海峡、直布罗陀海峡及地中海开展的巡航航次中采集的走航表层观测数据。本次采集的数据涵盖海水二氧化碳分压、海表盐度、海表温度与大气压强四项观测要素。用于获取此类数据的仪器包括二氧化碳（CO₂）气体分析仪，以及用于自主二氧化碳测量的淋浴式平衡舱（shower head chamber equilibrator）。
