The metabolic activity of bacteria and their responses to the changes of water status may greatly influence the ecological functions of wetlands. However, few people consider the changes of soil function and bacterial community under drought and flood conditions. Soil was collected from a typical seasonally flooded wetland transect on the Bang Lake basin . The collected soil was packed into 15 pots in January 2015 and five moisture gradients were conducted to simulate the hydrological conditions of the Lake wetland. Soil samples were collected at the 1, 21, 132 d were conducted to the bacterial community composition analysis.
