This former blogpost marshalls a critique of "Social Science", in particular, Psychology, since the mid-1970s, agreeing with B.F. Skinner that Cognitive Psychology [the type of philosophical endeavor derived from William James] is a form of "Creationism". I think that, ceteris paribus, Psychology has returned to Vitalism and Mentalism, suppressing Experimental, including, Behavioral Psychology. I attempt to provide arguments and evidence for my positions. I discuss current and former figures in the field who I consider, in one degree or another, responsible for the "Creationist" turn in psychology, passing judgment, as well, on Psychosocial, Humanistic, and Clinical Psychology.
