BMC Caller

BMC Caller is a webserver designed to analyze bacterial genome sequences for the presence of Bacterial Microcompartments (BMCs). It uses HMM profiles to identify and categorize BMC types, offering locus visualization and links to structural prediction tools, thereby serving as a reference database for BMCs and facilitating the discovery of new BMC types.

BMC Caller 是一款专为分析细菌基因组序列中细菌微区室（Bacterial Microcompartments, BMCs）的存在情况而开发的网络服务器。该工具采用隐马尔可夫模型（Hidden Markov Model, HMM）特征谱对BMC类型进行识别与分类，提供基因座可视化功能，并提供指向结构预测工具的链接，进而可作为BMC相关的参考数据库，助力新型BMC类型的发现。
