Rosalia funebris (RFUNE), the banded alder borer, is a wood-boring longhorn beetle (Cerambycidae) endemic to western North America and one of the first insect species described in this region. Despite being one of the largest subfamilies of Longhorned beetles (cerambycinae), this whole subfamily is represented by a single genome Aromia moschata. We present a near-chromosome-scale assembly for Rosalia funebris which would serve as a resource in understanding the genomic basis of beetle-plant interface.

带纹桤木天牛（Rosalia funebris，RFUNE）是一类蛀木性天牛科（Cerambycidae）昆虫，为北美西部特有物种，同时也是该区域最早被正式描述的昆虫类群之一。尽管天牛亚科（Cerambycinae）是天牛科中最大的亚科之一，但该亚科目前仅以星天牛（Aromia moschata）这一个物种的基因组作为唯一代表。本研究报道了带纹桤木天牛的近染色体级基因组组装结果，该资源将为解析甲虫与植物互作的基因组基础提供重要支撑。
