The integrated benthic silicate flux in the Baltic Sea suggests a major land-derived reactive silicon source

Data on benthic fluxes of dissolved silicate (DSi) from the Baltic Sea. The dataset contains 305 individual fluxes measured in situ with three types of benthic chamber landers and ex situ using lab sediment incubations at 43 stations over 20 years, and the data cover most of the Baltic Sea sub-basins. The dataset further contains information about bottom-water salinity, temperature and dissolved oxygen (O2) concentrations.本数据集收录波罗的海海底溶解硅酸盐（dissolved silicate, DSi）的底栖通量相关数据。数据集包含305组独立通量数据，其中20年间于43个站位通过三类底栖舱式着陆器开展原位测量，并采用实验室沉积物培养方式完成异位测量，数据覆盖波罗的海绝大多数次级海盆。此外，数据集还包含底层水盐度、温度及溶解氧（O₂）浓度相关信息。
