Phage bacteria interactions are increasingly recognized as key drivers of gut microbiome changes in IBD and CRC. Using viral tagging, we found expanded and more complex phage host networks in UC and CRC compared to healthy controls. These results suggest condition-specific interactions that may shape gut dysbiosis in inflammatory and neoplastic diseases.
