Pavilion VIII Lead Rosette - large

This is 3D data from an original lead rosette from Pavilion VIII in Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village at the University of Virginia. Recovered by UVA Facilities Management in Spring 2021. The original was scanned with a Creaform GoScan Spark at .25 mm resolution without color texture specifically for 3D printer replication. The data and/or the 3D print will be used to create molds to create replacements when the original are damaged. The original had a damamged delta petal which was replaced digitally with an intact petal for a complete architectural feature. A 3D printed master was created in ABS plastic using a Stratasys Mojo FDM 3D printer.

本数据集为弗吉尼亚大学托马斯·杰斐逊学术村第八展馆内原版铅制圆花饰的三维数据。
该物件由弗吉尼亚大学（UVA）设施管理部门于2021年春季回收。
原版物件使用形创（Creaform）GoScan Spark三维扫描仪以0.25毫米的分辨率完成扫描，未采集色彩纹理，扫描工作专门为3D打印复刻开展。
当原版圆花饰受损时，本三维数据及/或3D打印件将被用于制作模具以生产替换件。
原版存在一处受损的三角形瓣片，已通过数字化手段将其替换为完整瓣片，以还原完整的建筑构件。
本次使用斯特塔西（Stratasys）Mojo熔融沉积成型（FDM）三维打印机，以ABS塑料制作了3D打印母模。
