There are limited studies of TM4SF5, even though it plays a role in cell proliferation functions as lysosomal membrane amino acid sensor. In current studies, we aimed to study the role of TM4SF5 in mitochondrial homeostasis in adipocytes. Overall design: White adipose tissue mRNA profiles of wild type(WT) and TM4SF5-/- mice were generated by deep sequencing. Three biological replicates were analyzed for each of two conditions.
