The Soil Climate Analysis Network (SCAN) is a comprehensive, nationwide soil
moisture and climate information system designed to provide data to support natural
resource assessments and conservation activities. Administered by the United States
Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) through the
National Water and Climate Center (NWCC), in cooperation with the NRCS National Soil
Survey Center, the system focuses on agricultural areas of the U.S. monitoring soil
temperature and soil moisture content at several depths, soil water level, air
temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, wind, precipitation, barometric
pressure, and more.

土壤气候分析网络（Soil Climate Analysis Network，SCAN）是一套覆盖全美范围的综合性土壤湿度与气候信息系统，旨在为自然资源评估与保护活动提供数据支撑。该系统由美国农业部自然资源保护局（Natural Resources Conservation Service, NRCS）通过国家水与气候中心（National Water and Climate Center, NWCC）实施管理，并与该局国家土壤调查中心开展合作，其监测重点覆盖美国农业区域，可获取多深度土壤温度、土壤含水量、土壤水位、气温、相对湿度、太阳辐射、风况、降水量、大气压力等多类监测数据。
