Whole genome MinION sequencing of derivatives of E.coli 83972

We have created fluorescent derivatives of the E.coli strain 83972, constitutively expressing either red fluorescence (mKate protein) or green fluorescence (gfp protein) from the chromosome. In addition, we have selected rifampicin and ciprofloxacin resistant versions of these strains. Using Oxford Nanopore MinION sequencing we sequenced the whole genomes of these strains (as well as the original 83972 strain).
