The planktonic copepod Pleuromamma xiphias is a dominant contributor to mesozooplankton biomass in the tropical and subtropical North Pacific. This project aimed to reveal genetic structures of P. xiphias in the tropical and subtropical North Pacific using a genome-wide single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis. The multiplexed inter simple sequence repeats (ISSR) genotyping by sequencing (MIG-seq; Suyama and Matsuki 2015) was performed for P. xiphias. Samples of P. xiphias were collected during KH-14-3 cruise on RV Hakuho-maru. According to the method of MIG-seq in Suyama et al. (2022), sequencing libraries were prepared. The raw 150PE sequence reads were obtained on Illumina NovaSeq system.

浮游桡足类剑额真哲水蚤(Pleuromamma xiphias)是热带与亚热带北太平洋中型浮游动物生物量的优势贡献类群。本研究旨在通过全基因组单核苷酸多态性(single-nucleotide polymorphism, SNP)分析,解析北太平洋热带、亚热带海域剑额真哲水蚤的种群遗传结构。本研究针对该物种开展了多重引物间简单序列重复(inter simple sequence repeats, ISSR)测序基因分型(MIG-seq;Suyama与Matsuki,2015)实验。剑额真哲水蚤样本采集自RV白鹏丸号(Hakuho-maru)调查船KH-14-3航次。参照Suyama等(2022)提出的MIG-seq实验方法,构建了测序文库。最终在Illumina NovaSeq测序平台上获取了150bp双端原始测序读段。
