Exploration of the somatic mutational landscape of naked mole rats. This study comprises of a pan-body investigation of mutational burden and mutational signature across multiple tissue types of naked mole rats. The study utilizes laser-capture microdissection to isolate tissue samples followed by WGS NanoSeq. Naked-mole rats demonstrate a plethora of novel characteristics such as unexpected longevity and scarce cancer incidence which makes them the focus of this study.
裸鼹鼠体细胞突变谱探究。本研究针对裸鼹鼠多种组织类型的突变负荷与突变特征开展了全身范围的系统性调查,采用激光捕获显微切割(Laser-capture microdissection)分离组织样本,随后进行全基因组测序纳米测序(WGS NanoSeq)。裸鼹鼠具备诸多全新特性,例如超乎寻常的寿命与极低的癌症发生率,这使其成为本研究的核心关注对象。
