Cropland agroforestry 2015-2018

Data were collected at a short rotation coppice agroforestry site established at Wendhausen (Lower Saxony, Germany) in 2008. At this site, 10 m wide poplar strips ("Max 1" (P. nigra L. x P. maximowiczii Henry)) are alternating with 48 m wide crop alleys. Yield and selected quality parameters of annual crop plants were assessed in 2016 and 2017. The total amount of litter per square meter was assessed yearly (2015-2017) during the whole period of litterfall. The biomass yield of the poplar short-rotation coppice was estimated yearly (2016 to 2018).
