Satyrium ilicis shows a preference for parcels treated with rock flour.

There has been a drastic decline in <em>Satyrium ilicis</em> population across north-east Europe. One of the reasons of this decline is the acidification of soil at its natural habitats. Rock flour has been given as a solution, it can reverse the acidification of the soil. The observations of this research suggest a preference of <em>Satyrium ilicis</em> for locations that have been treated with rock flour.

东北欧地区的栎线灰蝶（Satyrium ilicis）种群数量已出现大幅下降。导致该种群衰减的原因之一，是其自然栖息地的土壤酸化。岩粉（Rock flour）作为修复方案已被提出，其可逆转土壤酸化进程。本研究的观测结果表明，栎线灰蝶更倾向于选择经岩粉处理的栖息位点。
