HLY-08-01 POES Satellite Images [Cooper, L./LDEO]

This dataset includes images from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellites (POES). The images are from the satellite passes that occurred over the Bering Sea during the US Coast Guard Cutter Healy BEST 2008 0801 (early spring) cruise. The images are from the NOAA-17 and NOAA-18 satellites and include 1 km visible and ir, and 4 km visible and ir products. The images are in jpeg format.

本数据集包含来自国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration，NOAA）极地轨道环境卫星（Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellites，POES）的影像数据。本次数据集所用影像，对应美国海岸警卫队希利号破冰船2008年春季早期BEST 2008 0801航次期间，卫星飞越白令海时获取的过境数据。本数据集的影像源自NOAA-17与NOAA-18两颗卫星，涵盖1公里分辨率可见光及红外产品、4公里分辨率可见光及红外产品。所有影像均采用JPEG格式存储。
