XRD data of sediments from retention ponds of saline mine wates in S Poland

PANalytical X'Pert PRO PW 3040/60 X-ray diffractometer equipped with a cobalt anode tube and X'Celerator detector (University of Silesia) was used to determine crystalline phases in the sediment samples. The samples were scanned within a 2θ interval of 5–90°, with a precise step size (0.02 2θ) and a long counting time (300 s).
