Attractions with the most visitors in the Netherlands 2019-2020

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of visitors to popular attractions in the Netherlands decreased sharply in 2020 over the previous year. In both 2019 and 2020, the theme park De Efteling in Kaatsheuvel was the most visited attraction. However, the number of visitors dropped from 5.2 million to roughly 2.9 million over the period considered. Meanwhile, the Keukenhof - renowned tulip gardens attracting over 1.5 million people in 2019 - was closed to the public in 2020, due to the pandemic.
