In this project, we revealed that nicotinamide promotes generation of pancreatic progenitors from hESCs through CK1 and ROCK kinase inhibition. Furthermore, we discovered the novel role of CK1 in pancreatic cell fate determination.

本研究揭示,烟酰胺(nicotinamide)可通过抑制酪蛋白激酶1(Casein Kinase 1, CK1)与Rho相关蛋白激酶(Rho-associated protein kinase, ROCK),促进人类胚胎干细胞(human embryonic stem cells, hESCs)向胰腺祖细胞的分化生成。此外,本研究还发现了CK1在胰腺细胞命运决定中的全新调控作用。
