**Overview**
This data package includes the abbreviations and acronyms for the Lowest Level Terms (LLT) in the hierarchy of the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) Terminology and a list of the MedDRA queries tools with their development status.

**Description**
This data package contains Standardised MedDRA Queries (SMQs) are tools developed to facilitate retrieval of MedDRA-coded data as a first step in investigating drug safety issues in pharmacovigilance and clinical development. SMQs are validated, pre-determined sets of Standardised Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) terms grouped together after extensive review, testing, analysis, and expert discussion. It lists also the abbreviations and acronyms for the Lowest Level Terms (LLT), each one of these terms is linked to only one Preferred Term (PT) and it could function as a synonym, as a lexical variant, as a quasi-synonym, and as a sub-element of their parent PT, in some cases an LLT is identical to its PT for data entry purposes.
