We assess the effect of CYR61 treatment on the transcriptome of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. We used primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) from ATCC (PCS-100-010). These cells were maintained according to the manufacturer's recommended instructions. We treated HUVECs with recombinant human CYR61 (PeproTech 120-25): 0.00, 0.05, 0.50, and 5.00 μg/ml for 24 hr. After incubation, we washed cells with PBS, isolated total RNA, and prepared samples for RNA-sequencing.
