Rule of Law and Female Entrepreneurship

Commerce requires trust, but trust is difficult when one group consistently fears expropriation by another. If men have a comparative advantage at violence and there is little rule-of-law, then unequal bargaining power can lead women to segregate into low-return industries and avoid entrepreneurship

商业活动需要信任，但当某一群体持续担忧被另一群体侵占（expropriation）时，信任便难以建立。若男性在暴力方面具有比较优势（comparative advantage），且法治（rule-of-law）缺失，则不平等的议价能力会导致女性被隔离到低回报行业，并避免从事创业（entrepreneurship）活动。
