This is the supporting data for journal article entitled "Hydrologic and Geological Controls on Chemical Weathering and Associated Carbon Sink in a Silicate-dominated River Basin". In this study, we aim to investigate the chemical weathering rate and weathering-induced carbon sink in the East River basin (ERB) by employing a forward model method to analyze river water chemistry. Water samples were collected during five fieldwork campaigns from December 2018 to October 2019, including three in the wet season and two in the dry season. In total, 43 sampling sites widely distributed across the ERB were visited during each campaign.This dataset includes the results from water chemistry analyses conducted at these sites.
本数据集为期刊论文《硅酸盐主导河流流域化学风化作用及其关联碳汇的水文与地质控制因素》(英文原题:Hydrologic and Geological Controls on Chemical Weathering and Associated Carbon Sink in a Silicate-dominated River Basin)的配套支撑数据。本研究以东江流域(East River Basin, ERB)为研究对象,旨在通过正向模型方法解析河流水化学特征,探究流域内化学风化速率及风化作用驱动的碳汇效应。研究团队于2018年12月至2019年10月期间开展了5次野外采样作业,其中3次对应雨季、2次对应旱季。每次采样作业均覆盖了广泛分布于东江流域的43个采样点位。本数据集包含上述所有采样点位的水化学分析测试结果。
