Chemical-physical parameters, major, minor and trace elements composition of groundwater belonging to the hydrogeological basin of the Piazza Armerina in Sicily (ltaly)

Abstract: The study area is the hydrogeological basin of the Piazza Armerina. Geochemical methods have been a useful tools for understanding processes altering the quality of groundwaters during their flow, such as the interactions between host rocks and groundwater and pollution coming from human activities. Records include: chemical-physical parameters, major elements, minor elements and trace elements composition of water collected from 11 springs and 5 wells in the 2004-2005. This study is part of the Water Protection Plan of the Sicilian Regional Government.

摘要：本研究的研究区域为皮亚扎阿尔梅里纳（Piazza Armerina）水文地质盆地。地球化学方法是解析地下水径流过程中水质演变机制的有效手段，此类机制包括围岩与地下水的相互作用以及人类活动产生的污染等。本数据集收录了2004年至2005年间，从11处泉眼与5口井采集的水样的理化参数、常量元素、次要元素及痕量元素组成。本研究为西西里大区政府水资源保护计划的组成部分。
