Northern Corroboree Frog Outdoor Enclosures

House Northern Corroboree Frogs for captive breeding program at Tidbinbilla in outdoor enclosures that consist of 5 ring-tanks (4 m diameter) with natural habitat and a pond. Water to the ring-tank ponds will be filtered of contaminants and chytrid fungus though a reverse-osmosis unit. Each ring-tank will house around 50 adult Corroboree Frogs, together with a sphagnum moss pool for breeding and raising tadpoles. This is a low-tech, low maintenance approach and provides a more natural environment compared to the existing housing in shipping containers.
