Supplementary Material for: A Rare Cause Of Right Hemothorax: A Case report on Rupture of Splenic Artery Pseudoaneurysm via Pancreatico-pleural Fistula

Introduction : Pancreatico-pleural fistula is a well-known complication in patients with pancreatitis, presenting with pleural collections, which may be hemorrhagic or non hemorrhagic. The source of hemorrhage in most of the reported cases was of pleural origin, rather than an abdominal source communicating with the pleural cavity. Case Presentation: We report a case of pancreatic pseudocysts and pancreatico-pleural fistula associated with chronic pancreatitis, presenting with right hemothorax and related respiratory symptoms, caused by a ruptured splenic artery pseudoaneurysm (PSA). Conclusion: We present a brief overview of the presentation, diagnostic workup and treatment options for a rare presentation of pancreatico-pleural fistula. This report highlights the importance of considering unusual sources of bleeding in unexplained hemothorax associated with pancreatico-pleural fistula and the need for multiple sequential interventions for its management.

引言：胰胸膜瘘（pancreatico-pleural fistula）是胰腺炎（pancreatitis）患者的常见并发症，以胸膜腔积液为主要表现，积液可分为血性与非血性两类。现有多数报道病例中，出血来源为胸膜源性，而非与胸膜腔相通的腹部源性出血。
病例报告：本文报道1例合并慢性胰腺炎（chronic pancreatitis）的胰假性囊肿（pancreatic pseudocysts）与胰胸膜瘘患者，因脾动脉假性动脉瘤（splenic artery pseudoaneurysm, PSA）破裂，出现右侧血胸（right hemothorax）及相关呼吸道症状。
结论：本文简要概述了该罕见胰胸膜瘘病例的临床表现、诊断评估及治疗方案。本病例报告强调，对于合并胰胸膜瘘的不明原因血胸，需考虑不典型出血来源，且该病症的临床管理需采用多阶段序贯干预措施。
