Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is one of the most important crops worldwide and a model plant to study stress responses. High-throughput RNA sequencing was used to analyze the microRNA (miRNA) profile of the aerial part of four-week-old tomato plants after application of the fungus Trichoderma atroviride to the seeds, at the transcriptional memory state. Expression changes of tomato miRNAs caused by Trichoderma are linked to plant defence responses and appear to have long-lasting effects.

番茄(Solanum lycopersicum)是全球最重要的农作物之一,同时也是研究胁迫响应的模式植物。本研究采用高通量RNA测序技术,对将深绿木霉(Trichoderma atroviride)施用于种子后、处于转录记忆状态的四周龄番茄植株地上部分的微小RNA(microRNA)表达谱进行了分析。深绿木霉诱导的番茄miRNA表达变化与植物防御响应密切相关,且似乎具有持久的效应。
