Secondary to vascular lesions, multifocal softening is visible - subacute and chronic lesions, including peripheral zones in the spinal cord. Changes of the vasculitis / encephalitis type of high intensity are visible in the pons, where they are also present through smaller vessels, in this localization the HIV-encephalitis component cannot be excluded.
