Data on root morphology of grapevine plants subjected to application of urea: effects of different methods and rates

The data contained in this dataset refer to the effect of different method and rate of nitrogen (N) on grapevine root growth. Plants were planted in 2011 and, since 2014, they were subjected to surface and fertigation N application, at rates of 0, 40 and 100 kg N ha^-1 year^-1. Root system morphology was evaluated with the minirhizotron technique in the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 seasons. In the dataset information on root number (alive and dead), surface area of root, length and diameter are reported.

本数据集包含的数据涉及不同施氮方法与施氮量对葡萄根系生长的影响。植株于2011年定植，自2014年起采用地表施肥与滴灌施肥两种施氮方式，施氮量分别为0、40及100 kg N ha^-1 年^-1。2016/2017及2017/2018生长季采用微根管技术（minirhizotron technique）评估根系形态。数据集记录了根系数量（活根与死根）、根表面积、根长及根直径等信息。
