A study to develop a therapeutic phage cocktail against ESBL urinary tract infection clinical isolates of Klebsiella and E.coli

A collection of 68 bacteriophages (phages) was screened against a collection of 39 ESBL-producing UTI Klebsiella and E.coli isolates. This led to the selection of six final bacteriophages to be used in a potential therapeutic cocktail.

本研究以39株产超广谱β-内酰胺酶（ESBL）的尿路感染（UTI）分离克雷伯菌与大肠杆菌（E.coli）菌株为宿主菌，对68株噬菌体（bacteriophages）展开筛选。经筛选最终获得6株终选噬菌体，可用于开发潜在的治疗性噬菌体鸡尾酒制剂。
