Kite Aerial Photography ARCSS grid Imnavait, Alaska 2012

Aerial photographs of the Arctic System Science (ARCSS) grid (1km^2 study area) in Imnavait, Alaska were taken using a camera rig and high altitude kite system. The kite was flown once on July 28th during the summer of 2012 at about 450-500 meters off the ground. Winds at about 8-10 mph on the ground.
