A mapping population was constructed from the cross 'Maor' x 'Perennial'. The F2 progeny were genotyped by RFLP, RAPD, and AFLP markers. Each F2 plant was selfed to produce an F3 family for QTL analysis.

本研究以‘Maor’与‘Perennial’为亲本配置杂交组合，构建了作图群体（mapping population）。对该组合衍生的F2后代，采用限制性片段长度多态性（Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism, RFLP）、随机扩增多态性DNA（Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA, RAPD）以及扩增片段长度多态性（Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism, AFLP）标记进行基因型鉴定。每一株F2植株均通过自交获得F3家系，用于数量性状位点（Quantitative Trait Locus, QTL）分析。
