资源简介:
Cognitive deficits such as learning and memory impairments are core issues in schizophrenia, severely affecting daily activities. Currently, no drug directly targeted cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia (CIAS). The literature highlighted G protein-coupled receptor (GPR) 139 as a potential treatment for CIAS. However, researchers have yet to examine the effect of GPR139 agonists on CIAS in depth. This project investigated the effect of GPR139 agonists in reversing CIAS-related startle habituation impairment on larval zebrafish. The result demonstrated the impact of GPR139 agonists in treating the startle habituation impairment of zebrafish, implicating their promise in addressing CIAS.
