GRACE重力计划采用了两颗低高度(300~500km)、近极轨道小卫星的定位和相互跟踪技术来探测地球重力场及其时变特性。广泛使用的数据产品是Level2数据，主要由JPL、CSR、GFZ三家研究机构处理并分发，分别提供了60~120阶不等的月度全球重力场解。
The GRACE gravity mission utilizes the positioning and mutual tracking technologies of two small satellites operating in low-altitude (300–500 km) near-polar orbits to detect the Earth's gravity field and its temporal variability. The most widely used data product is Level 2 data, which is primarily processed and distributed by three research institutions: JPL, CSR and GFZ, which respectively provide monthly global gravity field solutions with spherical harmonic degrees ranging from 60 to 120.
