To have a comprehensive molecular mechanism understanding of astaxanthin synthesis, transcriptome sequencing of microalgae culture process was conducted. The results are expected to further guide the in-depth optimization of the astaxanthin production process in H. pluvialis, and provide a new entry point to improve the astaxanthin productivity.
